What is registration?

Registration is the process of joining our club, that involves

  • Creating an account with Football Australia’s national PLAYFOOTBALL site,
  • Assigning an FFA number to you, which is your Football Australia member number.
  • Identifying which Competition, League, game format, Team makeup you wish to play in
  • Providing information on you or your child so that we can contact you and place you in an appropriate Team or Age-group.
  • Providing information to enable our Association to insure our players, spectators and club staff

Who needs to register?

Step#1 Prepare your registration

Player registration:

Make sure you have everything you need to register

  • Passport style digital photo to upload or update your Play football account.
  • Active Kids voucher (optional)
  • Payment method, Credit/Debit card for online payment or Cash for direct payment to Club staff (You can play at the Club Canteen during pre-season)
  • FFA Number / Existing Play football account (for prior members)

Technical staff registration:

Make sure you have everything you need to register

  • Passport style digital photo to upload or update your Play football account.
  • Service NSW Working with children check
  • FFA Number / Existing Play football account (for prior members)

Step#2 Go to our Club Sign-up page on the PlayFootball site

Click on Get Started to start your registration.

Step#3 Recover or Create new account

Play football will ask you to create a new account or sign-in to your account.

If you can’t remember your sign-in details, you can use the Reset Password feature to recover your details.

Step#4 Who are you registering?

You’ll have 3 choices:

  • Yourself (if you’re going to play or coach)
  • A linked person (child or dependent)
  • A new person (create a new account or link an existing account by account recovery)

Step#5 Pick a membership

You’ll have a choice of the different membership products that our club offers.. it will only show you the products that you’re eligible for based on Player age.

For example, a 10 year old girl, is eligible for memberships to Mixed Junior and Girls Junior Squads:

Don’t worry, we can correct it later if you pick the wrong one…

Step#6 Confirm your membership

You’ll also get a price breakdown, so you can see where your money goes.

Step#7 Confirm and update your details

Your chance to update your home address if you’ve moved, or update your sizes for your Member kit clothing from last year.

Or upload a more recent photo than the one you had when you were in Under 5’s mixed soccer.

Step #8 Confirm your order and agree to terms and conditions

Step #9 Payment

You’ll be presented with a summary of your membership, and breakdown of costs.

You can add your active kids voucher Now

You’ll be given 3 payment options:

  • Pay online with Mastercard or Visa
  • Pay offline by Bank Transfer (details below *)
  • Pay offline by Cash or approved Technical Staff at the Grounds
  • Pay offline by EFTPOS at the Club Canteen @ Girraween Pk during Preseason events

Step#10 Invoice and Approval

Once you’ve completed your registration, you’ll receive an invoice to your registered Email address.

After this, your Member record is released to Toongabbie Demons for Club approval. This allows us to check that your membership is correct, that you haven’t already registered, and to collect payment if you’ve decided to pay offline – at which point we’ll approve your membership and you’ll receive another email confirming your sign-up.
