Mar: Preseason training may start in March (depending on coach & teams)
Apr: The game season is expected to start in April ’21

This year, in place of our Spectacular annual Bingo night fundraising event the Club is decided to run a MEGA-raffle.
Tickets will be on sale at the canteen at Girraween Park each match day till the raffle is drawn on 19/9/20 $2 ea or 3 for $5.
First prize is a 1TB PS4 and there is also a signed and framed Wanderers picture to be won along with other great prizes.

Covid Safety

Football NSW Level C return to play guidelines are in place from 1 July 2020.
- Full competitive matches permitted within the Laws of the Game
- Training/friendly matches allowed
- Full football activities conducted at all levels (MiniRoos, 7v7, 9v9 or 11v11) including development programs
- Match fixturing and pitch allocations to be arranged to maximise spaces between pitches
- Social distancing of 1.5 metre between spectators (e.g. parents)
- Competitions, Leagues and Tournaments permitted
- Changerooms and/or wet areas limited to players and team staff and thorough cleaning between use recommended

COVID-19 UPDATE

NSW Government has announced the recommencement of community sport for those participants aged 18 years and under from 1 July 2020.
Training can take place in groups of ten, observing stated social distancing and other measures
Training is permitted for children and adults– all ages are encouraged, to commence training in preparation for the season’s commencement.
Competitions for players aged 18 and under may commence from 1 July 2020 – our Association is working towards kick-off around this date.
Decisions on Senior (Over 18) Competitions will be made in due course

A Wanderers Day
The U9’s had a chance to play on the pitch at a Wanderers game, and enjoyed the thrill of running out onto the pitch! Coaches Colleen and Dermot brought the team down for a quick game in front of a packed stadium!
